About Terra Verde Farms...
Our Cooperative Of South Florida Farms
We work with local farms so that we can provide our club members freshly harvested and locally raised nutritious food.
Our network of farmers believe in sustainable and ethical agriculture, whether certified organic or not. They set extremely high standards on what they use to grow the food and are careful not to use products that are harmful to the environment or our health.

Members Support Sustainable Food
Most importantly, sustainable agriculture is about the people who support and eat locally grown or raised food. Locally grown food has less time between the farm and the plate. Because it is fresher, it is higher in nutritional value than food that has to be shipped across the country and international borders.
Club Members And Farmers Create a Local Food System
In order for farmers to be able to be sustainable, they must have financial support so that they can cover the costs of growing food and make a reasonable profit. In the current industrialized food system, growers are dependent on farm subsidies, contracts, food brokers and the wholesale commodities market not to mention Mother Nature.
Our food system depends on our member support. Our members are actively supporting a food system we all want and believe in. We are a small business with the belief that farmers, and the people they feed, and not large scale agriculture will benefit from a healthy and ethical food system.

Community Growing Together
By growing and raising food for the local community, farmers are able to grow more crop varieties because they don’t have to ship them all over the country. More varieties means more nutritional diversity, which ultimately means better health for ourselves and our community.
Food From The Farm To The People
It is our mission to provide a sustainable food system for everyone in South Florida.
